Ascent's Mansion Ride for Autism is named TOP 35 in the COUNTRY,  Largest and Most Interesting Charity Rides by Bicycling Magazine

Sean, Ryan & Kyle Haber-Co-Founders & Co-Chairmen of the Ascent Youth Alliance to Battle Autism report that the AYABA Autism Awareness Spring Raffle exceeded original expectations. The sense of volunteerism, community and passion to help others displayed by all of the AYABA's student volunteers was both heart warming and exemplary! Nearly 80 student volunteers signed up to form almost 50 "teams", and raised over $65,000 in gross proceeds. Ascent Salutes the Haber Family and everyone involved. 

Ascent Board President, Al Eskanazy, inducted into the Volunteer Hall of Fame. 

Van Ameringen Foundation approves a $35,000 grant for Ascent Respite Program, helping families through the holiday and summer season. 

Steven Kaplan Memorial Foundation grants the Ascent Funding Organization $35,000 in year 2003 for the purpose of educating children with autism. Prior years of support were granted in the amounts of $25,000 in year 2002, $20,000 in year 2001 and $5,000 in year 2000, also for the purpose of educating children with autism. 

Ascent School makes history by working with the Massapequa School District to replicate an Ascent program within that school district setting. 

Ascent's Executive Director, Dr. Nancy Shamow is awarded with Ellis Island Medal of Honor for her contributions in the field of Autism. 

ITA Foundation grants Ascent  $25,000
